acquiesce


  • Meaning  -  assent; agree passively; comply without protest
  • Synonyms -  assent, agree, comply, connive.
  • Antonyms -  disagree, deny, refuse, condemn, demur, denounce.
  • Usage -  Although she appeared to acquiesce to her employer's suggestions, I could tell she had reservations about the changes he wantedd made.
  • Remember -  acquiesce ~ a+kiss : My girlfriend acquiesced when I tried to kiss her on her lips.
